Open May through December
Farm Store
The Farm Store is located at the center of Nourse Farm, at the edge of the berry, vegetable and flower fields. Smells of fresh jam cooking, berry pies baking, or the scent of herbs and fresh cut flowers welcome visitors. The Farm Store offers our own seasonal vegetables, jams, fresh-baked pies (featuring our chocolate-bottom pies!) and other baked goods, donuts, fruit sauces, honey, and more. This season we will be adding our own freshly-made breads! We accept all forms of payment (cash, check, credit).
Pick-Your-Own
Pick-Your-Own…Check the Pick Your Own link for updated information on PYO dates. Starting in mid-June with strawberries and ending in October with raspberries, the Nourse Farm offers pick-your-own small fruit in the scenic fields surrounding the farm. Different varieties of strawberries, blueberries and raspberries extend each of these crops. We also offer a cut-your-own flower field from July through September. Check out the Crop Calendar and FAQs to learn about the different berries, their picking timeframes, as well as other information about PYO.
The Herd
The Herd…Harkening back to its dairy past, the Nourse Farm raises beef cattle and currently has one young bull, ‘Hugo’ and 17 cows and calves. Besides keeping the grass low, the cattle offer a nod to Nourse Farm’s heritage as a dairy farm and provide a fitting detail to the landscape. They are polled Herefords, meaning without horns, and every spring we enjoy seeing the bright white faces of the calves. Check out our photos and video on Instagram and Facebook!
Nourse Farm continues to be an essential local food producer, following federal, state and local guidelines and putting into place safety precautions as needed. We follow CDC and Massachusetts protocols.
