Farm Store Team Member
Schedule: Weekdays and/or weekends in the fall
The Farm Store Team Member helps create a welcoming, engaging experience for everyone who visits Nourse Farm. Responsibilities include:
Operating the farm store register and assisting customers
Helping manage CSA distribution and member interactions
Restocking, inventory, and merchandising
Supporting farm events and special activities
Helping maintain and support the Education Garden
Assisting with school groups and educational programs
Creating a positive, friendly customer experience
Answering customer questions and sharing information about the farm and its products
Keeping the farm store clean, organized, and inviting
Supporting other farm store needs as they arise
Ideal candidate: Friendly, dependable, comfortable working with the public, and interested in farms, food, education, and creating a great customer experience.
Assistant Farm Store Baker
Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday, approximately 7:00 AM–2:00 PM (timeframe flexible)
The Assistant Farm Store Baker supports the Farm Store Baker with daily preparation and production of Nourse Farm baked goods. Responsibilities include:
Assisting with donut production
Preparing and working with dough
Preparing ingredients and work areas for pie production, jam production, and all other farm-baked goods.
Cutting and slicing fruits and other ingredients
Measuring and mixing ingredients
Assisting with baking and production as needed
Washing dishes and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen
Properly storing ingredients and maintaining a clean work environment
Supporting the Baker with daily production needs
Ideal candidate: Dependable, organized, comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, and interested in baking and food production. Previous kitchen or baking experience is helpful but not required.
Farm Field Crew
Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 8:00 AM–4:00/5:00 PM
The Farm Field Crew member works alongside the farm team to help grow, harvest, and maintain Nourse Farm’s crops. Responsibilities include:
Harvesting fruits, vegetables, and flowers
Planting and transplanting crops
Weeding and maintaining crop fields
Preparing beds and planting areas
Cleaning and maintaining fields, tools, and work areas
Assisting with irrigation and other general farm tasks
Washing, sorting, and preparing produce as needed
Helping with seasonal farm projects and maintenance
Working as part of a team to keep farm operations running smoothly
Other duties as needed
Ideal candidate: Dependable, hardworking, comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, and able to perform physical farm work. Previous farm experience is helpful but not required.
